Woodland Hills Recreation Center Public Art Project Community Meeting

Councilmember Bob Blumenfield, The City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, and the Department of Recreation and Parks invite you to a presentation of a proposed public art project for the new Woodland Hills Recreation Center.

Rendering of the new Woodland Hills Recreation Center
Renderings show the new Woodland Hills Recreation Center. When completed, the new center will be a jewel for the West Valley and will house a new gymnasium, amphitheater, pool facilities, classrooms, a picnic area, and new play spaces.

It will be sports themed piece by artist Mark Lere with oversized metal elements. The piece is still in the proposal stage and the Department of Cultural Affairs is looking to our community for additional input.

Mr. Lere will be on hand to present and answer questions about the project.
