James Conlon

As Councilmember Blumenfield’s Communications Deputy, James assists with the day-to-day briefings, social media outreach, and multimedia initiatives to connect with our community. On the legislative team, James regularly prepares Council session notes for Councilmember Blumenfield and works closely on climate-related policies.

James brings with him policy and communications experiences from Englander, Knabe, Allen & Associates, LAPD Police Commission, the Massachusetts State House, the UK House of Lords, the Behavioral Health Institute, the Transformative Prison Project and Finney Arnold LLP. James graduated from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University with a Masters in Public Policy, Magna Cum Laude and also earned his B.A. in Politics, Cum Laude with High Honors from the School of Arts and Sciences at Brandeis University.
