Last night, August 6, Councilmember Blumenfield, Streets LA and LADOT held a virtual town hall on "Connecting Canoga Park through Safety and Urban Cooling Improvements." Next month, the City will apply for State Active Transportation Program funds to construct and install new sidewalks, crosswalks, signals, bike lanes, shade structures, trees and other improvements to make it safer and more comfortable to walk, bike and take transit to reach the Sherman Way Orange Line Station and neighborhood parks, schools, and other destinations. A short video explaining the project is available here. If you have comments or questions, please e-mail [email protected] or call 818.774.4330.
