Bringing nonprofit security grant program workshops to the West Valley

Community members attending Team Blumenfield's Nonprofit Security Grant Workshop in the District Office

In the wake of shootings and attacks at houses of worship, Team Blumenfield stepped up to host a Nonprofit Security Grant Workshops so local clergy members can take the right steps to apply for security grants. These workshops are in partnership with the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office of Public Safety and CalOES and FEMA, and over the years Blumenfield has helped over 50 nonprofits learn how they can apply for much needed security grants.

With the rise in shootings and hate crimes, nonprofit organizations need to prepare themselves more than ever for any potential attacks. This requires investing in security resources and technology to monitor potential threats and quickly alert law enforcement.
