Please mark your calendar for Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019, as Councilmember Bob Blumenfield’s Economic Development BobCAT will present a small business resource and information symposium, known as BLOOM (Business Leadership Optimization & Opportunity Making), at the West Valley Police Station community room, at 19020 Vanowen St., in Reseda.
BLOOM will run from 10:00 am (registration at 9:00 am) to 2:00 pm with a compelling lineup of speakers and presentations geared to inform and engage small business owners as to the myriad of resources available from all levels of government and from the non-profit and private sectors. BLOOM will be highly interactive with "mini TED talks," round table discussions, displays, and information geared toward business owners to increase profitability and create jobs, and it will show entrepreneurs how give back to their communities and customers by working with non-profit organizations.
Councilmember Blumenfield will be there to welcome attendees, as well as recognize the Economic Development BobCAT for its work "to create and strengthen businesses, spur job growth, and boost the West Valley economy through constructive and sustainable activities," of which BLOOM is an essential component.
