As Councilmember Blumenfield's Director of Land Use & Planning, Andrew Pennington works in concert with the planning team and Field Deputies on all land use and planning issues affecting the district. In addition he works on numerous initiatives to spur economic development in the West Valley. Before joining the Councilmember's team Andrew worked on economic development projects for a consulting firm in Hollywood. He also brings an extensive background working with non-profits and Neighborhood Councils in West Los Angeles. Andrew, a native of Pennsylvania, received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Temple University in Philadelphia.
