Fifteen years ago the late Jane’t Broadous, daughter of Arthur & Deborakh Broadous, founded the club A2MA on the campus of CSUN. She and other founding members realized the importance of the arts being exposed and available to the communities especially in the San Fernando Valley. Over the fifteen years A2MA has educated and enlightened over 9,000 students from the various public and private schools in the Valley and surrounding areas. The African-American Music Festival is a living legacy of not only Jane’t’s life but of each member who wants to keep the music alive!
